How to Make Cool Miis on the Wii

On the Nintendo Wii video game console, Miis are avatars that represent you when playing certain games. You create a Mii using the system's Mii Editor. Most people create Miis with the same hairstyle, facial features and body type as themselves. However, you can be as creative as you wish when building your Mii.

  On the Wii's main menu, select the Mii Channel and click "Start."

  Click the "New Mii" icon on the left side of the screen. It is a green smiley face with a plus sign.

  Pick the gender for your Mii be clicking "Male" or "Female."

  Select "Start from Scratch" to open the Mii Editor.

  Click the "Face" icon and pick the shape of the face and skin color for your Mii.

  Fine-tune the face of your Mii by clicking the Hair, Eyebrows, Eyes, Nose, Mouth and Glasses icons. These are the icons that are key to creating a cool Mii.

  For each feature, select a type, then use the eight arrow icons to manipulate the position and size of the feature. Moving features around on the Mii, such as noses for a mouth or eyebrows for eyes, gives your Mii a unique and striking appearance. For example, select an eye type, then use the arrows to increase the size to take up most of the face and move the eyes inward. This helps make your Mii have the spooky eye look of an alien. Another example: Mve the hair over your Mii's chin to give it a scarf like a ninja.

  Click the "Body" icon to make you Mii tall, short, thin or fat.

  Continue experimenting until you are satisfied with your Mii's appearance. Then click "Save and Quit."

  Use the Wii Remote to enter a Nickname for your Mii, then click "OK."
