How to Get Sandalwood in Sims 2 Castaway for the Wii

"The Sims 2: Castaway" is a role-playing action and adventure game for the Nintendo Wii. You play as a character who ends up stranded on a deserted island. You must then collect items and interact with natives to advance. You also must collect firewood from the sandalwood tree, which can be achieved after you craft the metal axe.

Instructions

  Play the game in Story mode until you reach the Airplane Island level, the second island in the game. Move toward the volcano using your Wii remote.

  Go to the front of temple forge and press the "A" button. Your character will work to repair the broken area of the forge. Two prompts for new plans will appear on the screen, include "metal tools" and "glass set."

  Watch the cutscene as a volcanic eruption occurs. A new island will appear, but you must craft new metal tools before you can explore it.

  Click the option to create the metal axe. To craft it, you must have 25 metal ores, five pieces of hardwood and a hammer.

  Go to any of the sandlewood trees near the beach and press "A." Swing your Wii remote at the tree to collect the sandalwood.
