How to Soft Mod a Wii to Play Wii Games

The Nintendo Wii can play games produced by non-authorized Nintendo developers if its operating system has been modified first. A "soft mod̶1; (modification) will change the way the Wii works without having to physically alter its electronic components. The soft mod can be done by anyone willing to accept non-authorized programs on their Wii, and the Wii can be restored back to its original way of working at a later time should the owner wish it.
