How to Set Up 2 Players on a Nintendo Wii

The Nintendo Wii, as a seventh-generation console, automatically supports up to four wireless controllers (or "Wiimotes"). In order to ensure that the right Wiimotes are hooked up to the right Wii, a manual syncing procedure is in place. If you wish to have 2-players on a Wii, sync both Wiimotes up to the Wii. This procedure is very simple, once you know the locations of the sync buttons.
