Castlevania (Nintendo)
Dracula has no chance against the mighty Simon Belmont if you can handle the difficulty. The original Castlevania is exciting, but can easily frustrate casual gamers if they are expecting simple and easy. In the game, Simon has access to a whip, axes, knives, boomerangs and holy water to defeat Dracula̵7;s army. As players delve deeper into Dracula's castle, they encounter villains such as Medusa, Frankenstein̵7;s Monster and even Death himself.
Bonk̵7;s Adventure (TurboGrafx-16)
Bonk, a little caveman with a gigantic head, must rescue Princess Za in this humorous side-scroller. His enemies are primarily dinosaurs and other prehistoric baddies. Bonk must use his noggin--literally--to get past his opponents. Bash those dinosaurs with Bonk's dense dome and progress through the game to defeat the huge bosses at the end of each level.
Magician Lord (Neo Geo)
One of Neo Geo̵7;s first games, Magician Lord is a real challenge. Players control the good wizard, Elta, in the quest to defeat Gal Agiese, an evil wizard bent on bringing the world domination. The enemies come in bunches and include skeleton warriors and fire creatures that fly around and interfere with your actions. Elta has access to powerful magic that will aid you on your adventure. Sometimes, attacking as a wizard won̵7;t cut it. Transform into a samurai, dragon or waterman to make defeating bad guys easier.
Tecmo Bowl (Arcade)
Tecmo Bowl is a simple, but fun arcade-style football game. There are only two teams to choose from, the Bulldogs and Wildcats; however, four players can join in on the hard-hitting action. Each team has four offensive and defensive plays to choose from. The game features overwhelmingly large character sprites for an early arcade game. Tecmo Bowl is fun for football enthusiasts and simple enough for non-enthusiasts to understand and enjoy gameplay.
