Things You'll Need
Instructions
Connect the Wii to the Internet. If you have a wireless connection through a router the Wii should be able to access this with no problems. If you have a wired connection you will need to buy a LAN adapter. This adapter allows you to connect your console to your router.
Click on the button in the lower left corner of the Wii Menu to enter Wii Options. From there you can access Wii Settings.
Click on the option to set up your Internet. Select "Connection Settings" on the next screen.
Select an open connection on the next screen. There are three available connections if you have multiple sources. The first time you set this up they should all say "None."
Search for an access point by clicking the so-named button on the next screen. This will search for any wired connections or wireless access points nearby. Choose from the list on the next screen the connection you wish to use.
Save these settings on the next screen to establish the connection. Then select "OK" to test the connection. If the test works you are done. If the test fails you can try another connection or rest your modem.
