How to Save Games on a Wii SD Card

The Nintendo Wii seems to magically remember every move a player makes without the use of any external memory. However, if you plan to play games at a friend's house, you will need an SD card to save your game data for use on another Wii. Fortunately, Nintendo has made this process quite easy.

      Open the Wii's front flap, which is located under the "reset" button.

      Insert the SD card into the slot under the "sync" button.

      Turn on the Wii.

      Choose the Wii options menu from the channel screen.

      Click "data management."

      Click "save data."

      Click "Wii." You will see all the game save files stored on your Wii.

      Select the game save file you want to save to the SD card.

      Click "copy." Your game is now saved to the SD card.
