How to Connect Wii with Comcast

Comcast is one of the United States̵7; leading Internet providers. Since the Nintendo Wii has built-in wireless capability, it is easily compatible with a Comcast Internet connection with the addition of a simple wireless router. The entire configuration process takes a few short minutes and is very reliable once connected.

Another option is to buy the Wii LAN accessory, which connects directly to the Comcast modem.

Connect your Comcast cable modem to the wireless router with an ethernet cord. Most routers come with an ethernet cord. It looks like a larger telephone plug.

Configure your home wireless network using the router manufacturer̵7;s enclosed instructions. While each router is different, all will require you to name your network and decide between a secured network that requires a password or an open network that does not. The Wii will use either.
