Setup
Use the provided USB cable to plug the charging station into the back of your Nintendo Wii. You̵7;ll find the Nintendo Wii̵7;s two USB ports just above the fan exhaust. The charging station receives its power through the USB connection with the Nintendo Wii, so you don̵7;t have to worry about wall outlets or AC adapters. Note that the Nintendo Wii can only provide power while it̵7;s turned on or in standby.
Remove the battery cover from your Wii remote(s). Take out any existing AA batteries and replace them with the Fun Factory battery pack(s). Snap the new battery cover that came with the Fun Factory Wii Remote Controller Charging Station into place.
Charging
Regularly monitor the battery pack̵7;s power supply so you know when they need charging. You can check the power supply by pressing the ̶0;home̶1; button in the center of your Wii Remote at any time. When the ̶0;home̶1; screen comes up, you̵7;ll notice small battery icons for each Wii Remote at the bottom of the screen. Small white bars inside each battery icon indicate the remaining battery life. A red icon means the battery must be charged as soon as possible.
If the battery needs charging, place the Wii Remote into the charging station with the buttons facing outward. Ensure the metal prongs on the battery pack make the connection with the metal prongs in the charging station. You may need to move the Wii remote̵7;s wrist strap to one side. If you use one of Nintendo̵7;s protective Wii Remote ̶0;jackets,̶1; remove it before charging. The charging station̵7;s lights will glow red to indicate the Wii remote is charging successfully. Once the lights turn blue, the charge is complete.
