How to Save Games on Legend of Zelda for Wii

Players continue the adventures of the legendary hero Link in "The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess" for the Nintendo Wii. Link must defeat the encroaching shadows and their evil minions as they attempt to convert all of Hyrule to their everlasting darkness. "Twilight Princess" uses a save mechanic that may be familiar to fans of the previous games, but it lacks an autosave feature, which is common for Wii titles. Frequent game saves are necessary to avoid loss of progress in case you reach a seemingly impossible goal or experience any problems with your game or system.

  Use the ̶0;+̶1; button on the Wii remote to access Link̵7;s collection screen.

  Highlight the ̶0;Save̶1; option by pointing the Wii remote at this option or using the control stick.

  Press the ̶0;A̶1; button at the ̶0;Save̶1; icon to bring up the save menu.

  Choose the quest log that you are using for your game. This is also selected with the control stick or Wii remote. Multiple saves are possible so that you may have multiple players or be able to return to a previous place in your journey.

  Wait for the save to complete. This may take some time depending on the amount of the game played between your saves.

  Confirm if you wish to continue playing after saving by choosing the "Yes" or "No" options with your Wii remote.
