How to Use a Nunchuck

A Wii Nunchuk is a controller attachment that plugs into and is used simultaneously with the Wii remote. With the Nunchuk, you can control the movement of characters while performing other actions with the remote, such as throwing a pass. The Nunchuk contains an analog stick, a C button and a Z button with which to control characters. The Nunchuk is motion-sensitive and used just like the remote.

Instructions

  Slide the wrist strap of the remote through the hook on the Nunchuk and plug the Nunchuk into the remote via the external extension connector. You will hear a "click" if it is connected correctly.

  Put on and adjust the wrist strap and turn on all equipment.

  Use the Nunchuk in your less dominant hand with your thumb on the knob and your first finger Z button at the front and hold the remote in the other hand. Point both remotes toward the sensor bar of the console in readiness to play.

  Control the movement of your characters with the analog stick on the Nunchuk while using the remote to complete actions for your character, such as shooting a weapon.

  Use the C and Z buttons on the Nunchuk for further character control, according to the game, such as looking around or aiming weapons.
