How to Play the Drums With the Wiimote on Guitar Hero

Nintendo Wii has Guitar Hero available, a game where you can play a remote control guitar along with your favorite songs. You can also play drums on Guitar Hero with your Wii remotes. Using both the Wiimote and Nunchuk and the buttons on the remotes, you can play different drum sounds without needing an interface like a physical drum set to create drum sounds in your game. There are only a few things to know about how to play drums in Wii's Guitar Hero.

  Put the Wiimote in your right hand and the nunchuk (if you have one) in your left hand. Strap the remotes onto your wrists.

  Move the sticks up and down. The harder you move them, the more velocity will sound on the drums, just like a real drum set. The Wiimote is set to be the kick drum without any buttons pushed. The Nunchuk is the snare drum.

  Press the trigger button on the Wiimote to play the cymbals. You can change the kind of cymbals you are using with the directional pad. Press the trigger button on the nunchuk and you will have tom-toms. With practice, you can easily maneuver through playing the drums on Guitar Hero with your Wii remotes.
