How to Sync a Nintendo Wii Fit Balance Board

The Nintendo Wii is an immensely popular game system that comes with many types of games and game controllers. The Wii Balance Board is a device on which you stand and perform actions to play games that involve exercise and dancing, such as "Wii Fit." A newly purchased Balance Board must be synced to your Wii before you can use it. Syncing the Balance Board can be accomplished in a few easy steps.

Instructions

- 1
  Place a game that requires the Wii Balance Board, such as Wii Fit, into your Nintendo Wii and start the game as usual using a Wii Remote.

  Locate and press the red "Sync" button underneath the battery cover of your Wii Balance Board. The power light will start to blink.
- 3
  Locate and press the red "Sync" button underneath the SD Card slot on the front of your Wii console while the light on your Balance Board is still blinking. Synchronization is complete when the power lights glow steadily.

  Replace the battery cover on your Wii Balance Board.
