Instructions
Ensure your wireless network is on and running correctly. Test this by opening a web page on a computer you know is connected wirelessly to the Internet.
Boot up your Wii by pressing on either the ̶0;Power on̶1; button on the system or on a Wii remote.
Select ̶0;Wii Options.̶1; This is the large button on the bottom left of the screen that says ̶0;Wii.̶1; Remember, to select something on the screen, align the hand on screen with the button you want to select, and press on the ̶0;A̶1; button on the remote.
Choose ̶0;Wii Settings.̶1;
Select ̶0;Internet,̶1; and then choose ̶0;Connection Settings.̶1;
Select a ̶0;Connection̶1; to set up. There are three to choose from. It doesn̵7;t matter which one you pick. This is just available to let you switch connections easier. After choosing, start the setup process.
Choose ̶0;Wireless.̶1;
Select ̶0;Search for an Access Point̶1; to automatically search for a network in range, and then choose the network you want to connect to. Choose ̶0;Manual Setup̶1; if you want to connect to a security-enabled network. You are then prompted to enter the "SSID" (network name), select the security type: "WPA" or "WEP" (don't select any if you don̵7;t have a security key), and enter the security key. Hit on ̶0;Save.̶1; Your Wii automatically tests the connection.
