Setting up the Guitar
Unpack the guitar, separating out the three segments. Insert the neck into the main body segment. It should click into place when appropriately connected.
Locate the neck lock found at the top of the neck segment, and ensure that it is in the closed position. Next, remove the rear hatch for the Wii remote by releasing the two plastic spring connectors.
Pull the Wii connector cable out of the body segment, and click it into place in the back of the Wii remote. Slide the Wii remote firmly into the body of the guitar and fold the wrist strap into the provided cavity. Replace the rear hatch to secure the Wii remote inside the body of the guitar. Then fit the guitar strap into the two strap posts.
Setting up the Microphone and Drums
Separate your drum kit into the constituent pieces. You should have: two feet, a stand base, a set of drum pads, two cymbals, two plastic wingnuts, one pair of drumsticks, and one kick pedal.
Locate the two knobs located at the top side of the stand base. Flip the base upside down so that these knobs are pointed at the floor. Insert the drum stand feet into position inside of the upright posts located on the underside of the base. Then return the base to its proper orientation.
Place the kick pedal between the feet of the stand, and locate the wire trailing out of the kick pedal. Next locate the blue headphone port located on the back of the drum kit. Connect the kick pedal cord to the drum kit port. Next, Locate the two cymbal posts attach them to the cymbal posts on the drum stand. Attach the cords from the cymbals to the headphone jack located on the drum kit.
Locate the housing for the Wii remote found on the back of the drum kit. Remove the faceplate from the remote housing. Locate the Wii connector cable and insert it into the back of the Wii remote. When the remote is correctly attached, push the faceplate back into place.
Finally, connect the USB end of the microphone cord into one of the USB ports located on the back of the Wii system. All of your instruments are now properly set up. Simply insert the Guitar Hero World Tour disc into your Wii System and power it up to begin playing.
