You take control of your very own avatar that has just moved to a foreign city. You objective is to make residency here, which means you have to buy a house, get a job and meet everlasting friends. With your objectives comes the power of bells, which is Animal Crossing's form of money. Luckily, you can transfer bells from your pre-existing DS file to your Wii file.

Instructions

    • 1

Start a new "Animal Crossing: City Folk" file. Rover, the dog character in "Animal Crossing", will ask if you would like to move a character from your preexisting "Animal Crossing Wild World" video-game file.

    • 2

Start your "Animal Crossing Wild World" file. Once you have booted up your video-game, you have to tell Rover, the same dog, that you want to 'Move from DS'. This will bring you to the 'DS Download Play' menu on the Nintendo DS. Once your Wi-Fi-connection download is complete, you have to press the 'Moving Van' option and choose the character from your Nintendo DS.

    • 3

Complete the transfer. Rover will tell you that you can now use your character from your "Wild World" file on the "City Folk" video-game. Rover will have you register your new character into the Wii game. All of the characters belongings, that you have collected while playing "Wild World", will now be available for "City Folk", including their bells.
