Wii Speaker Troublshooting
If your Wii speak microphone is not working, make sure the Wii speak accessory is compatible with the game and channel you are using. You can also try turning off the Wii console and disconnecting, then reconnecting the microphone because it will not work unless you connect it while the console is off.
Volume Problems
Problems with the volume can be handled by adjusting the settings in the Wii game or Wii channel. The television volume should be kept at the level you normally have it for games. If that doesn't work, check the electrical devices that are on near your Wii devices.
Poor Sound Quality
If you are experiencing poor sound quality, check the Internet connections you are using. Proper connections would be Fiber optic, Cable or DSL. If you are using a wireless router for the Internet, make sure the router is close to the Wii console and that there are no other wireless devices near.
Feedback can be caused by the Wii microphone being too close to the television speakers or sitting on an electronic device other than the television. Make sure no one is touching the Wii microphone because it is made to be a hands free device, and touching it interferes with the noise filters working properly. Don't forget to check the settings of the Wii console and television set you are using for the game. They must both either be set to stereo or mono.
If an echo is the problem, make sure the Wii microphone and the person speaking are not moving. Also, check all the settings and connections previously stated.
