Out of the box, the Nintendo Wii comes with 512 MBs of internal flash memory. This is a decent amount of memory for casual users who don't intend to download a lot of content, or play a lot of games that require large save files. The users that play a lot of games or want to take advantage of the Wii's Virtual Console (Nintendo's downloading service) will want to invest in an SD card. An SD card is a small device you must manually insert into the Nintendo Wii. SD cards vary in storage capacity, however, SDHC (SD High Capacity) cards can provide up to 32GB of additional memory for your Nintendo Wii.
