How to Buy Wii Dollars

Wii dollars (more commonly referred to as 'Wii Points') allow you to purchase content from the Wii Shop Channel. The Wii Shop channel is where you go to download full games in the Virtual Console, additional content for newer games (e,g additional songs in Rock Band) or new Wii Channels. You must purchase Wii Points with a credit card and they are non-refundable. Before you buy anything from the Wii Shop, you will be notified of how many Wii Points are required. You can select the amount of Wii Points you want to purchase.

     Turn on the Wii. Go to the Wii Channel menu.

     Select Wii Shop. Select Start Shopping. Choose the Add Wii Points button. Choose the Buy Wii Points with Credit Card button.

     Enter the amount of Wii Points you want to purchase.

     Enter your credit card information and billing address.

     Verify that everything is correct and select "Yes." The Wii Points will be added to your account automatically.
