How to Play Super Mario Brothers on Wii

Super Mario Brothers is one of the most classic video games of all time, as it was the first game to formally star Nintendo's mascot character, Mario. Because it's a classic, it's also available on the Nintendo Wii as a game that you can download and play on the Wii console itself, meaning that you can play it anytime, and it's also much cheaper than the original game was.

Nintendo Account
Wii Points card
Classic Controller or Wii Remote

Instructions

  Turn on your Nintendo Wii and access the Wii Shop Channel. Wait for the Wii to connect to the store.

  Select the option to add Wii Points to your account. Enter the code on the back of the Wii Points card to get the points shown on the card. (If you have a credit card linked to your account, you can skip this step.)

  Open the Game catalog on the Wii Store and select the NES Games in the shop.

  Search for "Super Mario Brothers" and click on it with the Wii Remote.

  Confirm that you want to purchase the game. The Wii will then download the game. Wait for the shop screen to appear again.

  Click on the "Home" button on the Wii remote and return to the main screen. You should see Super Mario Brothers as a channel.

  Click on the "Super Mario Brothers" icon and click "Play." You will then be able to play Super Mario brothers.
