Instructions
Make sure the board's power is turned on. The blue light on the power button should be lit after the power button is pressed.
Check the batteries. Make sure the four AA batteries are correctly inserted. Try replacing them if the board will not power on.
Put on the board's foot extensions if you are playing on carpet. This raises the board slightly off the ground to provide better control when playing on a more spongy surface such as carpet.
Remove any objects located between the balance board and the sensor bar on top of the television. Any objects between the sensors can cause interference with the accessory's operation.
Turn off wireless devices nearby such as cordless phones, microwave ovens and laptop computers as these electronics can interfere with the signal between the balance board and the sensor bar.
Move closer or farther away from your television. Nintendo recommends you play games with the balance board between three and 10 feet from the sensor bar.
Sync the board to your Wii console again. Press the red sync button in the battery compartment of the balance board and then the corresponding button on the Wii console. The blue power light on the board should blink and then stay lit.
