How to Calibrate a Wii Balance Board for Games

The Wii balance board can be a fun extension to a game with which it is compatible. Unfortunately, there is no way to manually calibrate the Wii balance board before you start playing. The game you are playing will pre-calibrate the board before you begin playing ... and periodically while you are playing.

Instructions

    • 1

      The game will recognize that the Wii balance board is not calibrated, stop the game, and alert you of this.

      Step off the balance board for a few seconds when directed by the game. The game will have a timer or loading screen to show you it is calibrating.

    • 3

      The game will alert you when it is done calibrating. You will be free to step back on the balance board and continue playing at this point.
