Turn your Nintendo Wii on.
Use the arrow buttons on the Wii Remote to scroll down to the "Wii" button in the lower left corner of the main screen of your Wii. Press the "A" button below the arrows to select the button. Selecting this button will take you to settings menu.
Press the right arrow to scroll to "Wii Settings" and select it by pressing the "A" button.
Scroll to the blue arrow on the right side of the screen and press the "A" button to move to the second page of settings.
Press the "A" button to select the "Connection Settings" option.
Select an open connection by scrolling to a connection that has "None" listed by it and press the "A" button to select it.
Press the "A" button to select the "Search for an Access Point" option. Choosing this option will cause your Wii to automatically search for available WiFi connections. When your Wii has finished searching, a screen that says "Choose the Access Point you wish to connect to" will appear. Scroll down to "OK" and press the "A" button choose your connection.
Scroll down to the wireless connection you want to connect to and press the "A" button to select it.
Click on the "OK" button when you are asked to save your settings.
Click on "OK" on the next page to run an automatic connection test--this will ensure that you've set up your connection correctly.
