How to Buy the Wii Guitar Hero

Choose which entry in the "Guitar Hero" franchise you would like to purchase for the Nintendo Wii. As it is the oldest, "Guitar Hero III" is the cheapest, and can be bought new bundled with a guitar peripheral for $80. "Guitar Hero IV" is the most expensive when bundled with full-band peripherals, generally costing $130.

Check local video game stores such as Game Crazy or Gamestop. They are likely to carry both new and used copies of "Guitar Hero III" for the Wii console.

Visit larger general retailers, including Walmart and Target. Note, however, that they do not sell used games and are not guaranteed to carry older entries in the franchise.

Investigate electronics retailers such as Fry's Electronics and Best Buy to find "Guitar Hero" Wii titles. Their stock may vary and, like general retailers, they may not have the earlier games.

Shop online if you are having difficulty finding the edition of "Guitar Hero" for Wii that interests you locally. Many sites, such as amazon.com and half.com, carry the games.
