How to Connect Wii to WiFi

One of the many functions of the Wii system is its ability to wirelessly connect to the Internet. Several of the Wii channels require Internet access, such as the Wii Shop Channel, the Weather Channel and the Internet Channel. Connecting to the Internet is almost as easy as finding a Wi-Fi hotspot.

Instructions

      Go to a place where Wi-Fi is available.

      Turn on your Wii. If the Wi-Fi is not password-protected, the Wii will automatically connect.

      If the network does have a password, go to the Wii System Menu by clicking on the "Wii" button in the lower left corner of the screen.

      Go to "Wireless Settings" in the System Menu.

    • 5

      Find the network and enter the password required to access it and the Wii will log on.
