How to Use a Wavebird With the Wii

Tthe Nintendo Wavebird wireless controller for the Gamecube can also be used with the Wii. The controller is known for being one of the best of its kind. Now, you can combine it with one of the leading consoles in the video game industry.

      Install two AA batteries in the back of your controller.

      Find the controller port on the top of the Wii system. Open the port and take note of the four controller inputs.

      Position the Wii so the Wii logo is readable. Plug your Wavebird receiver into the input closest to you.

      Turn the dials on the bottom of the controller and the front of the receiver to corresponding numbers to tell the controller what channel to use.

    • 5

      Turn the Wii console on, and you should be able to use the controller to navigate the Wii system.
