Games for Nintendo Wii Gun

The innovation of the Nintendo Wii has allowed players to interact with games using a variety of controller extensions. One of the most popular extensions is the Wii gun, also known as the Wii Zapper. The Zapper enables players to replicate the real shooting of a gun and there are a select amount of games that are compatible with this gun.

Call of Duty 3
- The Wii import of this multi-platform war game is made more realistic with the Wii gun. Players battle in Paris and Berlin, among other places, in a single-player campaign or as a part of a multi-player game.
Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles
- This new edition of the Resident Evil franchise pits players into a first person format and relives many of the original Resident Evil games. You can use the gun to shoot zombies with unlimited ammo or upgrade to better weapons to use within the game.
Ghost Squad
- An arcade port from Sega, Ghost Squad is one of the first Wii games to use the Zapper gun. Players can team up in groups of four to finish missions against terrorists.
House of the Dead 2 &3: The Return
- Another Sega port, House of the Dead is a zombie shoot 'em up game featuring a lot of content and multiple levels to explore. Fans of the original will love playing this at home and new players will enjoy the storylines as well.
Wii Play
- A collection of games from Wii play allows players to enjoy the shooting options with the gun. These games include "Shooting Range," "Tanks" and "Fishing."
