How to Use a Wii Docking Station

The Nintendo Wii is one of the most popular gaming systems on the market today. Its popularity extends from the traditional gaming crowd to families, young children and even grandparents. Its ease of use is one of the main features that make it so well liked. One of the biggest drawbacks to the Wii system is the short lifespan of the remote batteries. However, new advances in docking stations make it easy and inexpensive to keep your Wii remote charged and ready to use.

  • Charging station
  • NiMH battery pack
  • Electrical outlet

Instructions

    • 1

      Remove the back of Wii remote and take out batteries.

      Replace the back of the remote with the NiMH battery pack that accompanies the docking station.

      Plug the docking station into a standard electrical outlet.

      Place Wii remote into docking station and click it into the base.

      Allow remote to charge until the light at the base of the charger turns green. The initial charging period typically takes about 2 hours per remote.

      Remove the remote from the docking station and commence with normal usage.
