How to Connect Wii With Friends

The Nintendo Wii is a seventh-generation console released in late 2006. This is the first home console engineered by Nintendo that also includes a fully featured online system, complete with the ability to connect with your friends in the Wii's message board. This feature lets you send messages to your friends and notify them even when the Wii is in standby mode. Additionally, you can send and receive created Miis, which are little avatars.

     Point the Wii remote at the Wii Message Board icon on your dashboard. Press "A."

     Select "Create Message."

     Select "Register."

     Type in your friend's Wii code. He can find this within his own address book. Type in a nickname for your friend as well.

     Select "OK." When your friend accepts your invite, his nickname appears on your address book.
