Hit him with his Jedi Council. Kasdan's purpose in rebuilding the Jedi Temple on Raxxus Prime is a futile attempt to resurrect them in mechanical form. There are several metal statues of Jedi Masters surrounding the area. Use Grip on them and throw them at Kasdan for some good damage.
Throw orbiting objects at him. Around the outside of the fighting area, there is a never-ending stream of junk floating by. Grip some of it and throw it at Kasdan for more damage. This works particularly well when he floats up past the junk stream and throws junk at you. Hit him with a couple pieces to bring him back down.
Destroy his Junk Titans. He probably won't have the chance to spawn more than two or three of these. These are actually a blessing. You will need to use Force Lightning and lightsaber combos to destroy the Junk Titan this time; there are no items around to throw at it. The upside to the Junk Titans is that destroying them gives you a health refill.
Use aerial attacks. Kasdan is extraordinarily fast (quite possibly one of the fastest bosses you will fight.) Hitting him with normal lightsaber attacks may be tricky. Hitting him with aerial attacks and combos can work better, provided that you're good at them.
Use Sith Saber Slash. This attack causes extra lightning damage that unlike Force Lightning, cannot be repelled. Electrical damage can help a lot, particularly on lower difficulty levels.
Adjust your lightsaber power crystal. Make sure you have a crystal that gives some kind of extra saber damage fitted.
