How to Play WII Online For FREE

Think you are a Jedi Knight among WII users? WII now gives you the chance to prove it now that you can take on the entire universe via the WWW... for free!

With the new Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection you can play WII for FREE with others over the internet. This really enhances the enjoyment of having a WII. I think most WII players will agree that playing against a real person beats taking on a computer any day of the week.

Most WII players choose to play with people they now via special friend codes.

Things You'll Need

Wi-Fi Connection (DSL or Cable)
WII
Any necessary WII controllers

Instructions

  Take your WII out of the box and connect it to the internet. This needs to be through a broadband connection such as DSL or Cable.

  Find a game for online play from the menu that appears.

  NBA Live 08
  FIFA 08
  Madden NFL 08
  Pokemon Battle Revolution

  Follow the WII instructions for swapping friend codes if you prefer to play with only those you know. Otherwise, you may choose to connect with random WII users.
