How to Get a Minecraft Account Using PayPal

Whether you don't have a credit card, or want to control the amount of money that you spend on the game, the process for creating a Minecraft account using PayPal is much the same as creating an account using a credit card. Your copy of Minecraft will be available for download after paying for your account. Paypal has been disabled as a payment option for Minecraft gift codes, used for in-game purchases and micro transactions, in an effort to combat the potential for fraudulent transactions.

  Create a Mojang account by visiting the Mojang Account Registration page (link in resources). Enter your email address, desired password, then select and answer three security questions and click the radial box indicating that you agree to Mojang's terms of service. After creating an account, you will receive an email with a verification code in your email inbox.

  Check your email account for the verification email sent by Mojang. Click the verification link in your email to complete your account registration.

  Click "Games" after logging in to your Mojang account, then select "Minecraft" from the drop down box to be redirected to the Minecraft homepage.

  Click the "Buy Now" button, you may be prompted to log into your account again, then select "I'd like to buy this game for myself"

  Verify your billing and contact information, then select "Paypal" from the payment options.

  Click "Proceed to Payment Details" to enter your PayPal information and complete your sale.
  
  Pre-paid Minecraft gift cards are available at many major retailers that may accept PayPal as a payment option.
