How to Make Barbarian Fires in RuneScape

Instead of using a tinderbox, the Barbarians of Runescape light fires with their bows and arrows. To complete this task, you can use any bow besides an ogre or composite bow, but your firemaking level must be at least 35 and you'll need a stack of oak logs. Once you learn the barbarian firemaking skill, you can use this technique to light any logs as long as your level is high enough for the wood.

  Go to Otto's Grotto, located in the northwest area of Baxtorian Falls.

  Talk to Otto and choose the "Barbarian Firemaking" task from the menu that appears. Otto will explain how Barbarians use a bow and arrow to light fires. He will then tell you to give it a try with some oak logs.

  Open the "Inventory" screen and click the oak logs to select them.

  Click on your bow to use the two items together. Your character will place the logs on the ground and set them alight. You now have the Barbarian Firemaking skill.
