How to Make Custom Armor in DragonFable

The online role playing game "DragonFable" allows you to customize the look of your default character armor when you start a new character. During the course of the game, you can purchase or earn new armor by doing quests or training with non-player characters. The only way to customize armor is by visiting a character called the Paint Fairy that resides in the armor paint room. The room is accessible from the portal near the Falconreach tower and requires a dragon amulet, which functions as a premium account upgrade and is available from the "DragonFable" website.

Instructions

  Log in to your "DragonFable" account and then click the name of your character with the armor that you want to customize.

  Click the "Buy Amulet" button on the left side of the game screen. Skip to Step 4 if you already have a dragon amulet.

  Use one of the online payment methods on offer to purchase the dragon amulet and upgrade your account to premium. As of June 2013, dragon amulets are available at a price of $19.95 and can also be purchased in a set of six amulets for $29.95 if you want one for each of the six characters that you can create in the game.

  Click the "Play" button after you have purchased the amulet and your account has been upgraded to premium status.

  Click "Close Quest Log" and then journey to Falconreach. If you have previously set this as the home town of your character you will start here automatically.

  Walk north (up) from the town entrance in the direction of the tower that can be seen in the background.

  Go left on the next screen and continue on the left path until you reach a shimmering blue portal on the road close to the tower.

  Walk in to the portal for the travel menu to appear and then click the "Armor Paint Room" button.

  Click the "Recolor" button to access the armor customization screen.

  Click the left and right arrows next to "Base Color" and "Trim Color" to cycle through the available colors for the armor.

  Click the "More" button to access the hex color codes section. Enter the exact hex color code that you want for your armor in the base color and trim color sections and then click the "Preview" button.

  Click the "Buy" button once you are satisfied with the preview of your custom armor. It costs one hundred cold coins to purchase the customized armor colors. Once the transaction is complete, you are warped back to the Falconreach tower area.
