How to Beat the Gate Keeper in DragonFable

Log in to the game and travel to the town of Falconreach.

Walk to the left and enter the shop with the "Health" sign above the door.

Click the girl with the potion in her hand to initiate a conversation and then click the "Train Alchemy" button.

Follow her instructions to improve your alchemy skills. You need to gather the reagents that she requests and mimic the symbols that she draws on the transmutation circle in order to upgrade your alchemy level. This is important as you can only carry two health potions at a time, but a higher alchemy level makes these potions more effective, which makes the battle against the Gate Keeper easier.

Visit the shop with the "Mana" sign above the door next to the Health shop in Falconreach. Click on the girl inside the shop and repeat the same procedure as you did for increasing your health potion alchemy skills. You can only carry two mana potions at a time and increasing their potency makes it less likely that you will run out of mana while fighting against the Gate Keeper.

Exit Falconreach and follow the path to the right until you reach a female standing next to a golden statue. Click on her and select "Talk."

Click "Invite" and then click 'as Friend A" to add Valencia to your party. Beating the Gate Keeper is much easier with other members in your party.

Battle monsters and do quests to level up your character to level fifteen, which is the recommended level for fighting the Gate Keeper.

Use the flight map near Falconreach to travel to the Necropolis.

Click on Artix, who is standing next to the gates of the Necropolis, and then click the "Quests" button. Click the "Invite" button to add Artix to your party. His "Holy Strike" attack does a lot of damage against undead in battle, which makes him essential for the Gate Keeper battle.

Click "The Gate Keeper" to start the quest. You will need to complete the "Haunted Castle," "Save Moonridge," "Moonridge: Saved" and "The Outcast" quests first if you have not yet done so in order for the Gate Keeper quest to be available.

Watch the scenes of your characters talking to the Gate Keeper and then click the "To Battle" button.

Use the "Multi Strike" attack on the shake spear minions that flank the Gate Keeper. The Gate Keeper has more health than his minions so it makes the battle easier to take out the shake spears first.

Use the "WarCry" spell if your character is a warrior to increase your attack damage for five turns. Use the "Power" spell for more damage in conjunction with the "Double" and "Triple" abilities.

Focus on one shake spear minion at a time and concentrate your attacks until it is dead. Once both shake spears are dead you can start attacking the Gate Keeper.

Use the "Stun" spell on the Gate Keeper to immobilize it for three turns. Use the "Holy Strike" spell of Artix to inflict extra damage.

Keep attacking the Gate Keeper and use your health potions as needed until you have completed the battle. Watch the story scene and then click the "Complete Quest" button.
