How to Take Screenshots on DragonFable

There are various utilities available for taking screenshots on your computer but to do so with the browser game, "DragonFable," your Windows operating system already has all the tools you need. Windows 8 has a shortcut key for capturing screenshots and saving it to your computer while the same can be done in Windows 7 with some copying and pasting. This enables you to capture screenshots of Flash-based games such as "DragonFable," which is not always possible with other game screenshot capture programs.

Instructions

  1. Print Screen (Windows 8)

    • 1

Log in to your DragonFable account and travel to the area of the game where you want to take the screenshots.

    • 2

Click the "Full Screen" button at the bottom of the game window to make the game fill the entire screen. This ensures that you don't have parts of the browser cluttering up your screenshot.

    • 3

Press and hold down the "Windows" key on your keyboard and then press the "PrtScn" (Print Screen) key. This Windows 8 keyboard shortcut takes a screenshot of your currently active window and saves it to your Pictures library.

    • 4

Click the "Full Screen" button again to return the game window to its previous size.

    • 5

Tap or click the Desktop tile on the Windows Start screen and then tap or click the File Explorer icon. Open the "Pictures" folder in "Libraries" and then open the "Screenshots" folder to view your "DragonFable" screenshots.

    Print Screen (Windows 7)

    • 9

Click the "Full Screen" button again to return the game window to its previous size.

    • 10

Click the Windows Start button and then search for and click "Paint." Alternatively, launch your image editor of choice such as Gimp.
