How to Put Multiple Textures Into One

You can use the in-game tools of Second Life to accomplish certain item modifications, such as putting multiple textures on one object. Using more than one texture on an object unlocks additional options that provide you with an extended ability to control the appearance of the various items in your world. You can add multiple textures to almost any object that you can customize, so the limits of your item̵7;s appearance exist only in your imagination.

Instructions

    • 1

      Launch Second Life.

    • 2

Maneuver your character so that you are facing the side of the object to which you want to apply the texture.

    • 3

Click the "Inventory" icon at the left side of the Second Life window. Navigate to the first texture you want to apply to an object and drag it to the object at which your character is looking.

    • 4

Position your character to look at a different side of the object to which you wish to apply another texture.

    • 5

Click the "Inventory" icon at the left side of the screen again. Browse to your second texture and drag it to the second object side.

    • 6

Repeat the process of correctly positioning your character, selecting a texture and dragging it to an object until your customization is complete.
