Poor Sector
Put a cursor over a barrel and click it to pick up a stick. You can use the stick as a weapon until you have the 40 gold pieces needed to purchase a wooden sword from Amelia in the Poor Sector. On day seven in gameplay, speak with Amelia and select "gossip." She tells you that she'd like a golden goose.
Get Magic Goose
Purchase two white geese from Wimbeldy. Head over to Grimm's Hatchery and collect any gold eggs that the geese lay. Place the gold eggs into the hatching kettle. A successful hatch gives you a golden goose. Take the golden goose to Amelia and give it to her. In return, Amelia gives you the Working Sector key. Return to the Kingdom of Candar map and use the Working Sector Key to access Greenwich Square.
Working Sector
Purchase two gryphons and two red dragonflies from the Apothecary. Head over to Hobb's Cottage and pick up the eggs that the gryphons lay. Head over to Rosewood Manor and pick up the red dragonfly eggs. Return to the Apothecary and enter the Pet Lab. Select one gryphon egg and one red dragonfly egg, and "zap" them to turn them into one ruby gryphon egg. Place the ruby gryphon egg into the Hatching Kettle and hatch a ruby gryphon. Go to Rowan and give him the ruby gryphon; in return, he hands you the key for the East Crest Court in the Noble Sector. Use the key on the Kingdom of Candar map to access the East Crest Court.
Egg Tractor
Pick up the old wheel at Grimm's Farm. Head over to Hobb's Cottage and pick up the rusty bucket. Go to Rosewood Manor and pick up a dusty belt. Go to the Backlands in the Poor Sector and speak with Wimbeldy. Select "gossip" to get him to talk about making an egg-collecting invention. Give the old wheel, rusty bucket and dusty belt to Wimbeldy. He builds you a tractor-like invention that can scoop up the eggs laid by your pets and collect them for you. This gives you more in-game playing time to care for the pets, and frees you to protect them from the bomb-dropping birds.
Get Lightning Rod
Go to Pemberly Keep in the Noble sector and pick up the ruby ring. Give the ruby ring to Metilda. Purchase two ice gryphons from Hatir. Head over to Pemberly Keep and pick up the eggs the ice gryphons lay. Go to Genevieve, who is inside Pemberly Keep, and give her one ice gryphon egg. Speak with Aldab and select "gossip" to have him comment on the gifts you gave Genevieve and Matilda -- his sisters -- and offer to sell you weapons from his secret stash. Select "Choose Buy Items" and look in the list to find the lightning rod, which you can now purchase. The lightning rod is the strongest weapon in the game, and can only be purchased from Aldab's secret stash. Once you purchase it, you can kill a monster by clicking on it one time.
Petriwood
The defense pet Petriwood helps you defend your pets from the monsters, and is invulnerable to the bombs dropped by the bomber birds. To get Petriwood, speak with Hatir in the noble sector. He tells you that he lost his toad sword. Go to Aldab and purchase a toad sword, then return to Hatir and give it to him. In return, Hatir gives you Petriwood. Place Petriwood in your hatchery yard, where it will defend your pets and fight the monsters that show up to harm them.
