Search for items and enter into battles in the initial area of the game, "Trainee Island." Fight monsters to gain experience points, which will help you advance to higher levels.
Purchase a pet. Any race and class can own pets, and it is up to you which pet you choose. Initial choices include Pantera, the Poultry, or the Tortus. Your pet will aid you in battle and will automatically advance in level each time that you do.
Buy as many stamina potions as you can. These potions, when consumed, will replenish your energy and allow you to enter back into battle when exhausted. During long battles with multiple monsters, you will have the best opportunity to gain valuable experience that helps you to level up. It's important to stay with the battle until you have defeated all monsters. Use the stamina potions when your character becomes unable to fight any more.
Pick up any items that you find on the ground. Some players may leave items behind, and monsters often drop items once defeated in battle. These items include gold and stones, which can be exchanged for upgraded battle armor. The better your battle armor, the more powerful your character will be. This allows you to defeat monsters more quickly, acquiring experience points and leveling up with increased speed.
