How to Make Minecraft Run Faster With a Skin

"Minecraft" is an online role-playing game that allows you to create a character that fights battles and completes achievements. One way to customize your character is by adding a unique skin color. The skin covers your character and can be changed at any time. Though you add the skin and can change it, this feature does not affect how fast or slow the game operates. However, you can change the settings to make "Minecraft" work quicker.

     Press "Esc" on the keyboard to open your settings menu. Click "Video Settings" on the menu options. Turn the video up to "Fast." Turn the bobbing to "Off," and turn the smooth lighting to "Off."

     Click the "Recycling Bin" icon on your desktop. Empty the bin to clear some memory.

     Close any programs you are running besides "Minecraft." This will speed up the game.
