How to Exchange Coins in Evony

"Evony" is a massively multiplayer online game that is browser-based. You play the game as a medieval character who is tasked with creating a city, building an army, and gradually expanding your territory through battles with opponents and through alliances with friends. "Evony" has two types of coins: gold and cents. You can acquire "Evony" gold via discovery, winning battles, and selling items. "Evony" cents are acquired through cash purchase. Both types of coins are exchanged in the same manner.

  Log in to your "Evony" account with your username and password.

  Click the "Marketplace" tab to launch the marketplace in a pop-up window.

  Search through the item pictures in the marketplace until you find the item or items that you want to exchange your coins for, and then click on that item. A "Post" button will appear.

  Click the "Post" button. A list of the lowest and highest current offers for that item will appear on the left side of the screen. This is a current snapshot of the marketplace prices, and can give you an idea of what kind of offer to make.

  Enter a per-unit offer for the resource you wish to exchange coins for. The marketplace calculator will automatically compute a total offer for you. You may enter any offer you wish, but by making your offers as low as possible you can conserve your coins as much as possible.

  Click "Post" again. Your offer will now appear in the marketplace.

  Check the "Pending Orders" tab to see your offer. When the exchange offer appears in this tab, it means it has not been accepted yet. It may take some time for your exchange offer to be accepted, depending upon current supply and demand. If it does not appear in the "Pending Orders" tab, check the "Trading Status" window at the bottom of the window. If your coin exchange offer appears there, it means you have an accepted exchange, that the coins have been deducted from your balance, and you will see the time that you can expect to receive your items.
