Use silencing abilities to prevent the casting of the enemy warlock̵7;s spells. All instanced PvP matches -- those that take place in a separate zone instead of the world at large -- require two or more players. Alternate your team̵7;s silence spells, rogue kicks and other powers that mute the conflagrate warlock to keep her from casting any powerful fire-based spells.
Cast crowd-control abilities to stun or snare the conflagrate warlock. Hunter ice traps, rogue saps or stuns and some paladin abilities can stop a warlock in her tracks. Teams with at least one melee-based member benefit greatly from snares that prevent the foe from running out of combat range. Hamstring, crippling poisons and similar abilities can slow the opponent, allowing your melee classes to easily inflict damage through the conflagrate warlock̵7;s cloth armor.
Break line of sight. Many spells in the destruction tree require the warlock to keep a clear line of sight on her target. Moving behind pillars, dropping off bridges and using other intervening terrain can prevent your foe from casting the most devastating spells in the talent line.
Use buffs that reduce fire damage. Shaman, druid and paladin players on your team can buff team members with resistance to fire or other elemental damages. PvP-specific gear also grants your character the resilience statistic. Resilience reduces damage done by all enemy players, including conflagrate warlocks.
Focus fire on the warlock. Unlike many other classes, warlocks wear cloth armor and possess only a small handful of defensive spells. Bringing your team to bear against the warlock allows you to quickly eliminate the threat.
