Instructions
Scan the battlefield for the best spot to cast your demonic teleporter spell. This spell teleports you from your current location to the location that you set the teleporter. When you need to put some space between yourself and a melee character, this is a lifesaver.
Apply your debuffs as soon as possible. You lose out on potential damage over time if you aren't applying your debuffs before trying to damage your opponent. You'll want to use the magic damage debuff against every class except for melee characters. You need to be able to maintain a safe distance from melee classes, so use Curse of Exhaustion.
Use your pets to your advantage. While you don't have the pet power that a demonology warlock does, you can still take advantage of the unique buffs and crowd control options that your pets give you. In many cases, you'll have the imp pet out in order to get your maximum stamina buff, as well as a small source of damage.
Use Fear as an effective crowd control method, especially in group fights. This spell provides several flexible ways to turn the tide of the fight in your favor. Cast Fear on the enemy team's healer to remove their support structure and quickly focus on a single target. Fear a damage per second character attempting to attack your own support and healing characters to help keep them alive. DPS characters are those that deal direct damage to other characters, as opposed to healing damage or tanking damage.
