A Guide to the Guild Party Quest in MapleStory

The Guild Party Quest in "MapleStory" is a multi-part quest that requires the participation of your entire party. Although the actual quest requirements are fairly simple, strategy is important since the actions and jobs must be divided among your party members. To best handle the Guild Party Quest, you need to have a full party and a willingness to assign your characters to the jobs best suited for them.
  1. Stage One

    • In Stage One the party must touch or hit a series of statues in order, and the statues will display a brief flashing sequence. However, different party members must be assigned to be in front of each of the statues since the entire statue area cannot be seen by a single character. Splitting party members as follows will help ensure the entire map is viewable: One member to the right third of the map, one in the middle of the map, and one to the left third of the map. The statues will flash in a random order at this point. Keep track of the order until the flashing stops. The statues must then be hit in order, replicating the sequence that was just displayed, so party members must each take turns hitting their assigned statues in the same order that they lit up.

    Stage Two

    • Stage Two features a quest in which the party must collect spears known as the "Spears of Longinus." There are four spears in total, and each party member may collect only one of the spears using the "Jump" ability within the "Room of Glory." The four spears, once collected, must be properly placed on their corresponding pedestals in the "Room of Justice." Certain character classes are needed to place each spear. Your party must contain a Mage character and a Thief character, and the other two characters placing spears may be of any type.

    Stage Three

    • Stage three can be entered as soon as your party defeats the monsters, all of which carry items. To get to the main part of stage three, the monsters should be eliminated as quickly as possible. Every item dropped by the monsters must be picked up rapidly as items will vanish if not collected immediately. Once the monsters are killed and loot is collected, stage three's game will launch. Stage three is a memorization game in which your party must enter the correct order of specific items when asked. Watch the items as they are revealed and then covered, then click the proper position for the item when you are prompted. You will have six opportunities to get the item positions correct, or else monsters will invade the map again and you will have to start this portion of the quest over.

    Stage Four

    • In Stage Four, your party must collect a series of clothing items. The pants are the first item and can be obtained by any character type or level. To get the pants, the puppet golems must be killed and looted for the "Sign of Evils" they carry. The second item is the shoes and can be obtained by a character who has the level 20 or above Haste ability since the character must bust open a box to obtain the shoes and then escape via the adjacent portal. The third item, the crown, can only be obtained by a character under level 30. No character above this level has access to the Devil Slime's lair. There are 20 Devil Slimes that must be killed, each of which will yield a Sign of Evil. To gain entrance to the crown room, the Signs of Evil must be left in front of the door. The party member may then break open the box inside the crown room to obtain the crown. The shirt can be obtained with the defeat of the parent Gargoyle and the eight smaller Gargoyles it will spawn upon its death. Collect the eight Signs of Evil, the small Gargoyles drop, then deposit those at the door next to the crown door. It will open to reveal a box with the shirt inside.
