Character Creation
When you first sign up to play AQW, you begin at the character creation screen. Here you select the type of character you want to play -- warrior, mage, rogue or priest. You choose whether your character is male or female. There are three boxes labeled "hair color," "skin color" and "eye color," each showing the currently selected shade. To change your hair or eye color, click on one of these boxes to bring up a palette of colors.
Traveling in AQW
The world of AQW is called "Lore," which contains many different locations. At first, you are only able to access a few areas, but more are unlocked as you complete quests. To travel, go to the map screen and click on the location you want to visit. Your character is instantly teleported to that location. To change your hair and eyes, you'll need to visit Battleon.
Yulgar's Inn
Yulgar is one of the nonplayer characters you'll meet in AQW. He has an inn, located in Battleon. You visit the inn to complete some quests, fight monsters, meet other characters and visit stores to buy equipment. The inn has several different locations for you to visit.
Room 42
Room 42 is located at the top of Yulgar's Inn. To get there, enter the inn and head east. Keep going east until you see a set of stairs leading up. Climb the stairs. Keep heading up until you see a door marked 42. Here you can change your eye and hair color; you can also alter your skin color, select the colors of your clothes or armor and change your character's gender.
