Theme Farms
"Farm Town" periodically introduces new items that are based on specific themes. Past theme items have included the "Country Collection," the "Holiday Collection," the "Seaside Collection," "The English Collection," and many others. When a Farm Town collection is released for sale, the items are obtainable in the in-game marketplace. Players can purchase the buildings, animals, fencing, decorative items, and crops that are part of that collection to make their farm a theme farm.
High Production Farms
"Farm Town" offers users so many options for their farms that it is possible that the farming itself can be a small part of the game. However, farming is still one of the most effective ways for players to raise money. Players can design a high-production farm by placing all their decorative items in storage, and keeping the buildings on the farm to a minimum in order to maximize the space that can be used to plant crops. When a high-production design farm is planted and harvested daily, the maximum amount of coins can be earned.
Farms With a Message
Hay bales and fences, both purchasable in the in-game Farm Town market, can be used to spell out special messages or create designs. Players can purchase different-colored hay bales, then carefully arrange them to create a special design such as a flag, a sports team sign, or even a character portrait. Fences can be used in the same way, however fences are generally more expensive and may have less visual impact when seen from far away.
Farm Town Village
Farm Town farms do not actually have to have anything to do with farming: A small village can be created in the provided farm space. Buy buildings such as the cottage, castle, pub, inn, general store, stable, barn, schoolhouse, police station, gym, courthouse, jail, airport, agricultural college, or any other offered structures to help create a whole village on the farm. Players can create the appearance of roads and pathways to the village buildings by using hay bales or fences to lead to each building.
