Description
Lost Souls are the weakest creatures you'll encounter. They have 65 health and are in the class of the undead. Wizard City and Unicorn Way is where you'll find Lost Souls. You can identify them by their transparent, ghost-like appearances hovering above ground. As you start to level in the ̶0;Wizard 101,̶1; you̵7;ll receive badges for accomplishing certain achievements. If you're trying to get the Undead Badge, which you receive for killing 1,000 undead creatures throughout the game, Lost Souls are the easiest targets for you to go after.
Quests
Two quests involve killing Lost Souls. Ghost Hunters is the first quest you get after you complete the tutorial and enter Unicorn Way. Speak to Private Connelly in Unicorn Way to get started on your quest, which involves killing three Lost Souls. A little further in the game you̵7;ll receive a quest called Our Daily Dread from Penny Dreadful, located in the dark cave in the Commons area. Penny asks you to kill several monsters, including a Lost Soul.
Attacks and Magic
Lost Souls have two forms of attacks. Physical attacks in the form of ice damage, which inflicts up to 90 damage per attack. Level one magic is the other form of attack used by the Lost Souls. The magic known by the souls includes Thunder Snake, Imp, Dark Sprite and Frost Beetle. When attacked by one of the Lost Soul̵7;s magic spells, you'll receive 65 to 145 damage.
Items Dropped
After you kill a Lost Soul, you have the opportunity to loot between 0 and 4 gold. Armor such as hats, robes, and boots are common items looted from a dead Lost Soul. If you don't need any of the armor dropped by a Lost Soul, sell it to a merchant to increase the money you have on hand. Treasure cards, which are one-time-use spells, will drop from Lost Souls as well. Some of the treasure cards you might receive from a defeated Lost Soul include Dark Sprite, Frost Beetle, Keen Eyes and Thunder Snake.
