Glam Items
In the online game ̶0;Sorority Life,̶1; you can receive glam items to help improve your sorority's chances in a face-off with other sororities. Glam categories include wardrobe, keepsakes, sweetheart and gifting. Wardrobe items can range from new dresses to shoes, while keepsakes include special collection items that offer additional rewards. Sweetheart items can help you to see who other sorority sisters are dating and shower gifts on your own boyfriend. Gifting glam items are those that you can send to other sisters to help bolster their own chances in face-offs.
Limited Quantities
Most glam items are available for purchase with brownie points, or points earned from your house mother. Some items are only available to purchase until they're sold out. When you access the Glam tab in the game, each limited quantity item is listed with the number available. Limited quantities are usually assigned to outfits, rides or boyfriends. You don't need the items to advance in the game, but they can help your sorority to increase in ranks.
Limited Edition
Some glam items are only available on a limited edition basis. During holidays such as Valentine's Day or Christmas, some items are available to purchase for a short period of time. The items usually have a theme such as the Fortune Cookie collection. The items aren't necessarily available to purchase if you level up. If the promotion has ended or has other stipulations such as finishing other tasks, you'll be unable to purchase or see them.
Levels
Glam items become available as you level up. When the game first begins, you have access to only five items. As you gain in popularity, more will open up. Available glam is based on more than just your current level. The number of face-offs you've won, your job and the amount of cash your sorority plays a major part in seeing additional glam items. When you reach the level or skill set needed to gain a glam item, a message will be displayed during game play.
