How to Link Items in Chat DDO

The game ̶0;Dungeons and Dragons Online̶1; (DDO) is a massive multi-player role playing game that allows you to create and develop your own Dungeons and Dragons fantasy character. As you quest and defeat enemies, you will earn treasure that you may wish to share or sell with other players. Linking an item in a chat channel allows you to broadcast the name of the item as a link that players can click to view information about the item. This is especially useful when you wish to sell an item and the other player would like to see the item̵7;s statistics.

Instructions

  Select a chat channel from the tabs along the chat box. You can also type a backslash followed by the name of the chat channel. For example, to link your items in the trade channel, type ̶0;/trade̶1; followed by one space.

  Press the ̶0;I̶1; button to open your inventory panel.

  Hold the ̶0;Ctrl̶1; key on your keyboard and right-click the item you want to link in chat. The name of the item will appear in green text in your chat bar.

  Left-click behind the green text in the chat bar and press the enter key to send your message. The green text will appear as a link that you and other players can click to see the item̵7;s stats and information.
