How to Get a Multiple Color Plant in Moshi Monsters

In the online children's game "Moshi Monsters," each player grows Moshling seeds in his Moshling Garden. The objective of most gardening in the game is to attract and capture Moshlings, which are small pets for your Moshi Monster. To attract a Moshling, you grow the appropriate combination of single-colored plants. However, you may instead wish to grow a multiple-color plant, which is called a "Rox Flower." Rox Flowers do not attract Moshlings. However, when you dig up a Rox Flower, you earn between one and 100 Rox, which is the online currency of "Moshi Monsters."

  Click on the "map" icon on the right half of the screen. Locate the "Moshling Garden" icon -- the white fence and two green hills in the lower portion of the screen -- and click on it to enter the Moshling Garden.

  Click on either of the signs reading "To Seed Cart" or "To Super Seeds" on the lower portion of the screen. All players can access the Seed Cart. Only paid members can access Super Seeds.

  Purchase any three Moshling seeds. The Super Seeds store offers a greater variety of seeds, but it does not matter which kinds of seeds you buy. Each seed packet costs 15 Rox, so expect to spend 45 Rox total.

  Click on the "To My Garden" sign on the left of the screen to find yourself back at the garden. Select the red seed bag located on the right half of the screen to open the Moshling seeds menu.

  Drag and drop each of the Moshling seeds onto one of the three little hills of mud in the center of the garden. This plants the seeds automatically. Shut the seed bag by clicking the red pouch on the right half of the screen.

  Click on "To Seed Cart," "To Super Seeds" or the door that reads "Home" to exit the screen. Click on the map icon and the "Moshling Garden" icon or click on the "To My Garden" sign to return to the garden.

  Hover your pointer over the three hills of mud, one at a time. You will see the message "Dig Up This X," with "X" indicating which type of plant is growing. If "X" is "Rox Flower," you will see a multiple-colored Rox Flower after 10 hours of real time. If none of the plants indicates that it will be a Rox Flower, click on them one at a time and opt to "dig up this plant." Repeat the process, planting three seeds at a time, until you see that a Rox Flower is growing.
